an abrupt crazy ending….unbelievably, unfortunately, the housing authority gave the 2100 block to a demolition project beginning just a week after our opening..!
while it is good the vacants are at the beginning of transformation and renewal …and we did all know the demo was happening eventually , we thought it was at later this summer. ah well.
the 2100 block is in the process of coming down, so come say goodbye and visit the other two blocks while you are here.
Thank you – ALL- who have visited, participated and supported in this wonderful year long experience and transformation of these three blocks of alley. The impact on the neighborhood has been amazing and the project has been surprisingly far reaching in it’s audience.
