and our trash pile is gone.

homeless sanitation workers – alley cleaning!
lots of cleaning happened last weekend. the sanitation department did not follow thru on clean up despite a month and half of request(go 311), so in addition to artists , i hired some of the neighborhood homeless to help.
funny, funnysad moment was when the police came , thinking we were illegal dumpers. how ironic is it to almost get arrested for hiring homeless people to clean the city?!
the 2100 block, the worst of the three is really transforming- now if the city just comes and gets that giant pile of trash we put beneath the tree before the 18th….
